Great news Wakehurst, Transport for NSW's community consultation has now begun on the Wakehurst Parkway upgrade.

The improvements along the 9.5km section of the Wakehurst Parkway from Narrabeen to Frenchs Forest will improve traffic flow and target road safety along the corridor, while increasing the capacity for future traffic growth.

The upgrade will also help engage the use of public and active transport, with proposed improvements along the parkway to include additional lanes at key sites and new bus stop connections.

The NSW government has committed funding and works are scheduled to commence late next year.
