Steven Curtis

I congratulate Steven Curtis, the 2025 KALOF People's Choice Award winner of the Out Front art exhibition. This exhibition featured 25 selected artworks from 21 schools in the community. Steven is currently completing his HSC at Oxford Falls Grammar, where he has channelled his incredible artistic talent into exploring themes and issues that resonate deeply with both him and his generation.

His standout piece, Artistic Innovation or Invasion?, thoughtfully examined the growing impact of artificial intelligence on the art world—a timely and relevant topic that continues to spark debate, especially among young creatives. Through this work, Steven captured the hearts and minds of the community, winning the majority of votes from over 1,200 attendees. Steven's passion, creativity and courage in confronting challenging questions through his art are clear indicators of a young person destined for success. I am truly excited to follow his journey and see the many accomplishments in the years to come. Well done, mate!
