Today, I rise to recognise the extraordinary contribution of Allambie Heights Village and its ongoing commitment to the people of my community. This year marks an incredible milestone, with the organisation celebrating 101 combined years of service to people all across the Northern Beaches. That includes 60 years of Allambie Heights Village, 30 years of the residential aged care facility, 10 years of William Charlton Village and the very first anniversary of Bellburra Retirement Village. Since opening in 1966, Allambie Heights Village has provided older Australians with not only a place to live, but also a place to belong. As a not-for-profit organisation, it has created a strong sense of community while continuing to expand its services and support for local residents. From its beautiful location overlooking Manly Dam, to its diverse community of residents and staff representing over 30 nations, Allambie Heights village is a shining example of connection and care. I congratulate everyone who has contributed to this remarkable achievement and thank them for more than a century of service to our community.
