Amaya Hall

I recognise the outstanding achievements of Amaya Hall, a talented young speed climber from my community. At the recent NSW State Speed Titles, Amaya finished first in the under-19 women's competition and third in the Open women's competition, while also setting a new personal record. She continued this impressive form at the National Speed Cup, again finishing first in under-19 and third in the Open. Having won all three national cup events in her category this year, Amaya also secured the overall Under 19 women's national cup. Those remarkable results reflect years of dedication, hard work and steady progression through the junior ranks since 2020. Amaya is an outstanding example of the young sporting talent within the Wakehurst and northern beaches community. I congratulate her on those achievements and wish her every success at the national championships in Melbourne later this year.
