Collaroy Plateau Public School Dance Performance

Today I congratulate Collaroy Plateau Public School students on the achievements in their recent dance performances at Sydney Opera House. The performances were part of the NSW Department of Education In Concert 2025, a major music event. Students of Collaroy Plateau Public School were very gratified—thrilled, in fact—at achieving great results. Year 6 received second place, the all‑boys group gained third and the year 4 group attained a highly commended mention. That was all performed at the Opera House so it was no small feat. It reflects weeks of rehearsal, teamwork and grit. What an outstanding effort that is. The hard work put in by the dedicated teachers and parents for the costumes, choreography and all the behind-the-scenes work was amazing. I acknowledge the dance staff and the families who ferried students to practice and kept spirits high. I congratulate all the student dancers whose talent, commitment and enthusiasm made the whole school community very proud. Well done.
