I rise to congratulate the Collaroy Crusaders from Collaroy Surf Life Saving Club on their outstanding result at Aussies 2026. In their first season together, the Open Women Crusaders made an Aussies final and finished fifth in Australia. That is a remarkable achievement at the highest level of surf lifesaving competition in the country. I particularly congratulate crew members Jodie Trim, Chloe Butler, Tara Bowyer and Isabella Dunkin, together with their sweep Gavin Scott. Surf boat rowing is one of the most demanding events in surf lifesaving. It takes strength, courage, discipline and complete trust between every member of the crew. To achieve this result in their first season together says a lot about the talent, determination and teamwork of this crew. Their success reflects countless early mornings, tough training sessions, and the ability to stay composed under pressure in challenging surf conditions. I congratulate Jodie, Chloe, Tara, Isabella and Gavin, along with their coaches, supporters and the broader Collaroy Surf Life Saving Club community, on a fantastic season and an outstanding national result. Congratulations all, you have made our community so proud.
