Tonight I acknowledge Dr Peter Prendergast and his team at Collaroy Veterinary Hospital, who have been taking care of the beloved pets of the northern beaches since 1997.
Recently my office was contacted by one of the vet hospital's clients, who had great things to say about the kind and compassionate service they received while their pet was in for treatment. On the northern beaches we love our pets, so when they get sick or injured it is such a great relief to know that our furry and feathered friends are receiving high-quality care. In recognition of his dedication to his work and decades of experience in surgery, in 2016 Dr Prendergast was granted membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. I congratulate the amazing team at Collaroy Veterinary Hospital on their years of devotion to the pets of the northern beaches. On behalf of Wakehurst pet owners—and, basically, all of the northern beaches—well done on all the work they do.
