I proudly congratulate Dylan Matsuura on his outstanding achievements in wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Dylan recently claimed gold at two major competitions in the United States: the UFC BJJ Open in Las Vegas and the Jiu-Jitsu CON Kids International. He was also crowned the 2026 New South Wales Under-15 State Wrestling Champion. These are remarkable achievements for a Year 7 student at Killarney Heights High School. Balancing schoolwork with the training and travel required to compete at this level takes considerable discipline, resilience and determination. Dylan has already established himself as an exciting young competitor, achieving impressive results both here in Australia and internationally. Congratulations Dylan. Your community is incredibly proud of what you have achieved, and I look forward to following your continued success.
