Essential Worker Housing on former Forest High School site

We are losing essential workers!

PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE to keep our key workers on the beaches.

Increasingly essential workers can't afford to live here. This is bad for them personally, having to commute long distances or live in subpar conditions. It's also bad for our community, because we rely on the services they provide. That's why I'm jumping at the opportunity to back the former Forest High School site for key worker housing.

The petition I'm sponsoring in Parliament with Sheridan Brady, president of the Northern Beaches Hospital branch of the Nurses and Midwives Association, calls on the government to maximise affordable homes on the site for nurses, midwives, paramedics, teachers, police, bus drivers and aged care workers.

The redevelopment of the government owned land is a once in a generation opportunity to shift the dial on affordable housing for our essential workers. I’m doing everything I can to make sure we don’t let it pass us by.

We can fix this. Together, by signing and sharing this petition we can make our voice heard and have the site handed to key workers so that they can live and work in our awesome community. If we don’t, we will continue to lose our key workers.

Please sign the petition and ask your friends and family to do the same!
