Today, I would like to recognise Ethan Sonemann, for his outstanding performance and commitment on the AFL field. Representing the Forest Lions in the Under 13 Division 3 competition at the Sydney Harbour Junior AFL awards, Ethan secured a phenomenal 3rd place finish in the league. Achieving a top three finish in a highly competitive division takes immense skill, consistency week after week, and an unflinching work ethic. Ethan has shown what it means to lead by example, showing determination in every contest and supporting his teammates every step of the way. Ethan was one of 10 Forest Lions players recognised with an invitation and award at the SHJAFL Association Awards night, the largest group of invitees in Forest Lions history! Ethan's recognition forms part of the club's continuing tradition in developing and celebrating the outstanding talents in the community. Ethan, your dedication to the Forest Lions and for the game set a fantastic standard for our entire community to follow. Congratulations on an outstanding season, and we can't wait to see the future successes you will earn!
