Fight for A Cure

I recognise the hard work and dedication of the team at Fight for a Cure, a Northern Beaches charity that has dedicated more than a decade to supporting families fighting cancer. Established in 2014 by a group of eight women impacted by cancer, the team at Fight for a Cure have turned community generosity into real outcomes for Wakehurst and beyond. They have raised $3.5 million for 15 cancer research projects. They also fund dedicated cancer care nurses and care packs for chemotherapy patients at Northern Beaches Hospital. Each initiative reflects a simple truth: World-class research and wraparound support save lives and ease the pressure on loved ones. None of that happens without countless hours from the volunteers, sponsors and donors who show up year after year. I sincerely thank the founders, committee, partners and everyone who has bought a ticket to their fundraisers for their compassion. They are helping build hope for a cancer-free future. I congratulate Fight for a Cure and wish it all the success in the years to come.
