Forest Line Junior AFL Club

I congratulate Forest Lions Junior AFL Club on its fantastic year. Established in 1969, the club proudly continues to nurture the family-friendly and community‑based club culture. The club boasts one of the greatest retention rates across the region from Auskick to under-17s, as well as expanding girls' AFL, with the primary goal for players to have fun while developing their AFL skills. How good! At the club's recent presentation night for the under-17s and the presentation day for the Auskick to under-15s players, it was noted that the club's success is due to the incredible players, families and community support, as well as the amazing committee for all the hard work and dedication behind the scenes. The brilliant coaches and managers were also thanked for guiding the teams all season, and all award winners were congratulated on their effort and sportsmanship that truly represented what it means to be a Forest Lion. What an amazing bunch of volunteers they are. I look forward to another successful year in 2026. I love the Forest Lions; they rock!
