Today I recognise Jigsaw Australia, a great local organisation creating pathways into employment for people with disability in the Wakehurst community. Jigsaw provides practical training and real work experience, helping people build skills, recognise their strengths and pursue their individual career goals. It also works directly with employers to identify meaningful opportunities where those strengths can make a genuine contribution. People with disabilities deserve the same opportunity as anyone else to build a career, earn a wage and thrive in the workplace. I give a massive shout-out to Abby Harris, who met with me and my team to show us how valuable this work is. Abby is an absolute local legend and we cannot wait to see what is ahead for her. I commend Abby and Jigsaw's local team, trainees and graduates for their achievements and their contributions to a more inclusive community, and I give a big shout-out to all those current employers who have given them a fighting chance.
