I recognise Lila Louis for her outstanding achievements in athletics and cross country. Lila has been a committed member of the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Club since the age of eight, consistently demonstrating perseverance, discipline and a genuine passion for her sport. Over the past four years, she has proudly represented Cromer Public School at zone, regional and State levels in both athletics and cross country, showcasing her versatility and determination. In 2025 Lila represented New South Wales at the National Championships in long jump, placing thirteenth in Australia—an incredible achievement at such a young age. She also holds multiple records, including Cromer Public School's junior girls records in the 200 and 800 metres, as well as a club record in the under-10s girls 60 metres hurdles. Lila's work ethic and commitment set a fantastic example for other young athletes in our community. I congratulate Lila on her State representative award and on everything she has achieved so far. I look forward to seeing what she does next.
