Northern Beaches Clean Up Crew

I congratulate the Northern Beaches Clean Up Crew, which is celebrating an amazing 10 years of service to our community. Over the past decade, the members of the crew have been true superheroes of our shores, armed with gloves, buckets and the passion to make our beaches sparkle. The passion of the volunteers has made a significant difference in preserving the natural beauty of our beaches and waterways, not to mention helping protect our wildlife, which far too often is impacted by litter. Through teamwork, the crew continues to inspire countless others in fostering a culture of care and sustainability. It works to educate our community on plastic pollution and encourage shared responsibility for our public spaces. So far, the Northern Beaches Clean Up Crew team of more than 200 volunteers has collected over 5,000 kilograms of rubbish. What a phenomenal effort! The team's commitment to bringing the community together, rain or shine, to remove litter and promote environmental awareness truly sets a remarkable example for us all. Here's to many more years of making waves and keeping our beaches beautiful.
