I congratulate students from Cromer Campus, Northern Beaches Secondary College, who have submitted songs for the annual Triple J Unearthed High competition: Lachie, Raph and Spencer, the members of Lorelai, with their song I wish I could fly; Summer, with the song Juliet's Soliloquy; Taya, with the song Mother; and Griffin, with the songs Flimsy, Fragility, and Beyond the Thorns. Each song by those awesome students demonstrates perseverance, attention to detail and uniqueness—three qualities that will help them to excel in the music industry. I also give a huge shout‑out to Mr Casella. He is a natural when it comes to music and a wonderful mentor to these students, with his exceptional audio engineering skills. In a competition that has seen the beginnings of world‑famous artists like The Kid Laroi, Gretta Ray, The Rions—who are also Northern Beaches locals—and Mariae Cassandra, I have no doubt that we will be hearing a lot more tunes from these guys in the years to come. Well done, legends.
