I wish to recognise Jason and Anne Marie Smith and the talented team and students of Spirit Taekwondo in Brookvale. At Spirit, Jason and Anne Marie have helped students develop not only their sporting abilities, but also the discipline, resilience and respect that sit at the heart of martial arts. Their students continue to achieve outstanding results. At the 2026 NSW State Championships, Spirit Taekwondo competitors secured seven gold, four silver and two bronze medals. Earlier this year, Gabriela and Samantha Blewitt represented Spirit Taekwondo and Australia at the Kimunyong Cup in South Korea, where both won gold. These achievements reflect the talent and determination of the competitors, as well as the dedication of their coaches and families. Congratulations to Jason, Anne Marie and everyone at Spirit Taekwondo. Your hard work continues to make the Northern Beaches proud.
