St Augustines U18s Won Football NSW 2026 State Cup Competition

I wish to congratulate the St Augustine's Football Club Under‑18 Men's team on their success in winning the 2026 Football NSW State Cup. After a stellar performance throughout the competition, the team capped off its campaign with an emphatic 4-1 victory over White City on 12 July. Having reached the final last year, the players returned with determination and showed resilience to go one better in 2026. St Augustine's took a 2-1 lead into half-time before producing a commanding second-half performance to secure the title. Their success was built not only on attacking flair, but also an exceptional defensive record, with the team conceding just three goals across the entire competition. St Augustine's now joins three other victorious teams from the Manly Warringah Football Association as 2026 State Cup champions. The passion, skill and sportsmanship shown by all the competitors made for a memorable day and a superb conclusion to the tournament. This achievement reflects the commitment of the players and the tireless support of their coaches, families, volunteers and wider club community. Congratulations to everyone involved, including the parents, supporters and all-important orange-slicers, on bringing the State Cup home.
