I rise today to recognise Zac Plowman of the Forest Lions AFL Club for his contribution to junior Australian rules football across the Northern Beaches. In 2026, Zac represented Forest in the Under 17 Division 4 competition and was one of ten Forest Lions players invited to the SHJAFL Association Awards Night. At those awards, Zas was recognised with third place in the U17 Division 4 Association awards, placing him among the leading players in his division. The Forest Lions describe their club as a pathway for young players from Auskick through to Under 17 football, with an emphasis on participation, development and community. Zac's recognition reflects the commitment required to contribute consistently throughout a full junior football season. The Forest Lions have been part of the Wakehurst community since 1969 and in 2026 the club celebrated its 57th year. Zac's third place Association award adds to that long history of recognising young players who make a strong contribution on the field. I congratulate Zac Plowman on this well deserved award and acknowledge his dedication to his teammates, coaches and the Forest Lions community.
