Anglicare St David's Village

Today I recognise Anglicare St David's Village as they just celebrated their 50th anniversary. Established in 1976, the village has offered generations of residents a community of neighbours and friends alongside independent living. None of this would be possible without the commitment of those who keep the village running each day. Staff bring patience and care to their work, while volunteers lend a hand with outings, events and the everyday moments that turn St David's into a home. Anglicare St David's Village is a reminder of how much our older residents contribute to the character of our area, and how important it is that they continue to feel valued and connected. Congratulations to everyone at St David's on this golden milestone. I thank the residents, staff and volunteers, past and present, who have made the village such a special place, and wish them every success for the years ahead.
