Katie Jackson

I congratulate Katie Jackson, Director of Teaching and Learning at Pittwater House and a valued Collaroy community member, on receiving a NESA Quality Teaching Scholarship. One of just 14 recipients, Katie will undertake a five-week research tour across Australia and the United Kingdom in 2027, exploring how schools can make quality teaching the norm in every classroom. With more than 25 years in education, Katie brings extensive experience as a maths teacher, school leader and researcher, including work on girls' confidence, education and wellbeing. I know Wakehurst and the entire Northern Beaches wish her luck ahead of her upcoming travels and further research. I congratulate Katie on this well-deserved recognition. We wish her every success and look forward to the insights her research will bring to schools across New South Wales.
