The Northern Beaches simply does not have enough indoor basketball court/ multi court facilities to meet the large and growing demand for this popular sport. The message is loud and clear to me within my own conversations with local sporting groups, parents and students.

I too want our youth in particular (as well as the young at heart), to have every opportunity to play the sport they love. Too many are missing out with thousands on waiting lists. Heartbreaking

I am working hard to bring this need to reality and working with the NSW government on a solution. Ultimately, I am asking that additional multi court facilities be incorporated into public infrastructure delivery in our area. This is so important to support healthy lifestyles and I want to see this investment prioritised.
