Community Recognition Statement - Vale Louise Kuchel

I pay tribute to an extraordinary individual whose recent passing at the age of 51 has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her. We honour the memory of Louise Kuchel, a remarkable advocate and a compassionate soul.

Louise touched the lives of countless individuals in her tireless efforts to create a more inclusive and understanding society. Louise's journey was one of strength, resilience and dedication. Throughout her life she held vital roles within the not-for-profit sector, making a significant impact in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. Her tenure at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Parents for ADHD Advocacy Australia and the disability royal commission demonstrated her commitment to championing the rights and wellbeing of those with disabilities. As we remember Louise, we recognise the immense impact she has had on the lives of those around her. Our thoughts and condolences are with Louise's children, family, friends and colleagues.
