Community Recognition Statement - Manly Warringah U16 Girls' Softball Team

Congratulations to the Manly Warringah under-16 girls' softball team, which last month won the New South Wales State Championship at Blacktown International Sportspark after a stellar undefeated season.

This awesome team also won the State championship last year, making them back‑to‑back champions. The girls on the team work super hard, usually training 15 hours to 20 hours per week to achieve these kinds of results. Special congratulations to the six girls on the team who have been selected to play for the New South Wales under-16 softball team, which will represent New South Wales in the national championships in Victoria in January next year. Best of luck to all of them.
