A massive congratulations goes to Gotcha4Life, which hosted dozens of 24-hour row events on 13 and 14 September to raise funds and awareness for mental fitness. In just one day 836 individuals—all lunatics—and 59 teams took on the challenge and raised over $482,000. What an incredible achievement! That remarkable effort is a true testament to the passion and resilient spirit that defines Gotcha4Life. For 24 hours straight, rowers did not just power through physically; they broke down stigma and started real conversations about mental health, resilience and human connection. I give a special shout‑out to Gotcha4Life founder Gus Worland, the driving force behind it all. His tireless commitment to suicide prevention and building mental fitness is transforming communities across Australia. Normally, I join in; however, I had double knee surgery a few days before and so I got out of it—yay! My Long Reef team did amazing. Well done to everyone in the community who participated, supported and volunteered to make the event such a huge success. You guys rock!
